Adults who are grieving the death of a friend or family member are welcome to come and share their experiences and struggles in a confidential environment.
Bereavement Support Groups
Hospice Richmond Hill offers various bereavement support groups throughout the year, according to client request.
These groups include:
Lean on Me: Adult Mixed Bereavement Support Group (various relationships to the deceased)
On Our Own: Group for Women Grieving the Death of a Spouse/Partner
peer2peer group for grieving youth Group for Young People Grieving the Death of a Family Member or Friend
Missing You: Concurrent Group for Parents and Children Grieving the Death of a Family Member

OUR NEW HOME
We are extremely pleased to now be located at the newly formed Community Support Centre located in the very heart of town – 10155 Yonge Street (north of Major Mackenzie). With the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation and some other key partners, Hospice Richmond Hill will be sharing a unique historical home with other community support agencies agencies.
Join us for the Grand Opening of The Community Support Centre on Tuesday December 8, 2009. The official opening will be at 5pm, but you are welcome to drop in anytime between 12noon and 8pm. We look forward to showing you our new space.
Longest Night Candle Light Memorial Service

Annual Tree of Honour
November & December 2009
We will have the Tree of Honour on display at Hillcrest Mall on Friday December 18 and Saturday December 19 from 9:30am-9:30pm. Drop by to honour a loved one by placing a dove on our special tree. Doves are also available from our office – give us a call.
